Data Source & Licensing

Attribution Requirements

When using data from the RESTasaurus API, include these four required elements:

Element	Description	Where to Find in Response
Title	Wikipedia article or image title	`source.pageTitle` or `image.title`
Author	”Wikipedia contributors” or image author	`source.author` or `image.author`
Source	Wikipedia page URL or image URL	`source.wikipediaURL` or `image.imageURL`
License	Link to Creative Commons license	`source.license` or `image.license`

The API provides all attribution information in its responses within the source and image objects.
